Nixt Slides
PowerPoint-compatible presentations with speaker notes, rehearsed timings and a slide show, edited on your own computer.
Nixt Slides opens, edits, presents and saves PowerPoint presentations (.pptx). It works on the file on your computer. You don’t need an account to open a file, nothing is synced, and the app sends no telemetry.

What Nixt Slides is for
Nixt Slides is built for presentations and opens nothing else. If you try to open a Word document, a spreadsheet or a PDF, it tells you which Nixt Office app opens that file instead — Nixt Writer, Nixt Sheets or Nixt PDF.
It is designed around one idea: a presentation you open should still be the same PowerPoint file when you save it. The parts of a file that Nixt Slides doesn’t manage are written back unchanged, and a shape you didn’t touch is saved exactly as it was read. File formats and compatibility explains what that covers.
